Gas prices aren’t the only thing on the rise with AT&T announcing price increases earlier this month and Verizon now following suit.
According to multiple outlets, Verizon customers can expected the price increase to be reflected on June bills.
“We’re all feeling the pressure and we’ve been in the process of deciding how much of that pressure we can share with our clients,” Tami Erwin, head of Verizon Business, recently told Bloomberg.
Reportedly, that “pressure” translates to the company raising its administrative fee by $1.35 for every voice line on a plan, bring that charge up to $3.30. The charge does not apply to data-only lines, such as for a tablet.
Earlier this month, Bloomberg reported that AT&T raised the price of some of its older Unlimited and Mobile Share plans in a bid to push its customers to its newer plans.
Single-line users saw up to a $6 a month increase and people with family plans could have up to $12 a month added to their bills.
