Registration for the United Way of Lamar County’s 2025 Kids Marathon is now open on EventBrite.
All kids in Lamar County in grades K-6th are invited to participate in this free event. Kick-Off is on Tuesday, March 18th from 5pm-6:30pm where all participants will run the first mile of a marathon together, receive their free tshirt and running log.
Over the next seven weeks kids and their families will log the miles they run/walk and then return for the Finale on Tuesday, May 7th from 4:30pm-6:30pm where they will run the last 1.2 miles of the marathon together, cross the finish line and receive their medals. The Credit Union of Texas food truck will be there with free dinner for everyone!
