Due to construction, County Road 44600 will be closed to thru traffic for bridge replacement at Faught Creek.
Lamar County Precinct 4 Commissioner Kevin Anderson said due to weather etc. it’s hard to predict a completion date but expects the road to be closed for months.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation Project Tracker, project completion is estimated for August 2019.
