On July 12, 2018 the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to a theft that occurred from a vehicle in the 400 blk of West Division in Blossom, Texas where money and property had been stolen out of the vehicle.
During the investigation Deputies found that multiple vehicles in the immediate area had been burglarized, resulting in currency and property being taken totaling approximately $ 1000.00 dollars.
On July 20, 2018 Deputies through on-going investigations arrested a Blossom juvenile suspect in connection with the motor vehicle burglaries and a second adult male suspect, identified as a Damian Raige Nicholson Williams and he was arrested on July 23, 2018.
The Juvenile in this case was referred to the Lamar County Juvenile Probation and Williams is currently being held in the Lamar County Jail on a $5000.00 dollar bond.
The investigation in still on-going and Detectives are currently working to recover additional outstanding property and ask anyone with information concerning this case to contact the Sheriff’s Office CID Division.
The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office is asking citizens to be vigilant, remove all valuables from their vehicles and lock their doors, and report any suspicious activity to their local law enforcement.
