Get ready to deck the halls Reno, Texas, you now OFFICIALLY have permission to start decorating your house for Christmas!!
The Reno Parks and Trail Committee is hosting ‘Twas the Lights Before Christmas’ contest!
“This is going to be so much fun,” said Vice-Chairperson Amanda Willows. “Not only is it a great way for us to recognize those who decorate within our city, it is also a fun and free activity for families around the area as they tour Reno to see these fantastic homes.”
There will be four catagories Reno residents will be judge on:
- Reno’s Clark Griswold Award (most likely to be seen from space)
- Reno’s Christmas Spirit Award (traditional)
- Best Animated/Computerized Display
- People’s Choice Award (online voting will open December 21st)
Those wanting to enter the competition need to register and be ready for judging by December 20th.
