Each year, Names.org releases its predictions for the top baby names of the year —and this year there are definitely a few surprises.
Like the previous two years, Liam and Olivia both took the top place on their respected lists for a third year in a row.
The results are based on findings using the Social Security Administration data on births in 2020 (the most recent year released) and data found from the United State Census Bureau.
Below are the top 10 names for boy and girls in 2022.

The names Theodore and Maleo were just outside the top 10 on the boys list and are rising in popularity. While you can expect to see Camila in the top 10 for the girls in coming years.
