North Lamar Independent School District superintendent Kelli Stewart announced that three employees recently tested positive for coronavirus. She said the situation is being addressed as the school district approaches its tentative return to school date of Tuesday, Sept. 8.
“Three staff members at North Lamar ISD have tested positive for COVID-19,” Stewart said. “Consistent with CDC guidelines, we are currently cleaning all high tough surface areas throughout our facilities. The conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic are continually evolving, and we will continue to follow our Safe Return-to-School procedures.
