The Texas Rangers are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Bonham on Saturday after police say the suspect pointed a weapon at them.
According to reports, officers responded to a suspicious person call at 2122 N. Center Street in Bonham around 12:36 p.m. on Saturday.
In a press release, police say officers encountered a white male subject who was armed and pointed a weapon at the officers. Officers fired on the subject and the subject was pronounced dead on the scene.
Bonham Police Department called in the Texas Rangers to conduct the investigation and that investigation is ongoing.
