The Fannin County Office of Emergency Management, together with the Texas Forestry Service (Wildland Task Force), were able to secure a wildland fire on Tuesday that was within Ector Fire District.
“We want to give a huge thank you to Texas Forestry Service for their assistance in helping mop up (secure) a wildland fire that started on Monday, Aug. 26, south of the Ravenna area that was within the Ector Fire District,” said Fannin County OEM.
The original fire on Monday took Ector, Savoy and Ravenna Volunteer Fire Departments to bring it under control.
