The cafeteria of T.G. Givens Early Childhood Center was filled with smiles, cheers, and proud moments as students celebrated graduation ceremonies surrounded by family and friends.
The celebration began with students proudly parading into the cafeteria, waving excitedly to loved ones before taking their seats for the special occasion. Staying true to their daily traditions, the ceremony opened with the pledges, the T.G. Givens family song and kindness pledge, and a moment of silence — routines that help build structure, pride, and community for students throughout the school year.
Each graduating class then took its turn walking across the stage, where students shook the hand of Principal Kendra Beshirs as teachers proudly read each child’s name aloud. Families celebrated every student with applause and encouragement as they were recognized.
Adding to the celebration, each class performed a special song for parents, grandparents, and guests, creating heartfelt moments that highlighted the joy and growth experienced throughout the year.
Students who achieved perfect attendance were also honored during the ceremonies and presented with trophies recognizing their dedication and commitment to being at school each day.
“These ceremonies are such a special way to celebrate our students and the incredible growth they have made this year,” said Principal Kendra Beshirs. “Watching them confidently walk across the stage, perform for their families, and celebrate their accomplishments reminds us all how important these early childhood years are. We are so proud of every student and thankful for the support of their families throughout the year.”
The graduation ceremonies served as a meaningful conclusion to the school year and a celebration of the friendships, learning, and memories created at T.G. Givens.
