Sybel (Syble) Genive Harbison was born on May 27, 1935, in Minter, Texas to Marshall Jenkins Threadgill and Tommie Bedford Crockett Threadgill. She went to be with our Lord on December 24, 2024.
She married Bobby Lynn Harbison on September 3, 1955.
Sybel is survived by two children; Bobby Harbison and his wife Debbie of Collinsville, IL and Kathy Stich and her husband Ken of Coppell, TX. There are two grandchildren; Damon Harbison and is wife Michelle of St. Jacob, Il, their children Madison, Garrett, Ava and Aidan. Jarred Harbison and his wife Liz of St. Louis, MO, their children, Emma, Alexis and Mason. A sister Carolyn Chance of Greenville, TX.
Sybel was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Colonel Bobby Harbison, USMC. Brothers, James and sister-in-law, Irene, and Marshall and sister-in-law Marilyn. Sisters Dorothy Epps, Imogene Lafon and brother-in-law Ray and Johnnie Threadgill.
Sybel left a legacy of love, creativity and service. Her many friends will join her family in celebrating her memory, remembering her as a woman of substance, faith, wisdom and courage.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial are pending and will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
