We may have only just clicked into the Fall season, but that isn’t stopping Southwest Airlines as they are back with their ever-popular 72-hour sale.
For those of you looking to escape the winter blues with perhaps a beach trip; now’s your chance to save on flights and have a few extra pennies to shop.
One-way fares are starting at $49 and for inter-island Hawaii travel, trips they start as low as $29.
The three-day sale covers flights in the continental U.S. between Nov. 13, 2019, and Feb. 12, 2020.
International travel is also on sale for dates between Nov. 13 and Dec. 11, 2019, Jan. 7 and Mar. 5, 2020. For all the deals, there are blackout dates including most Friday and Sunday travel, mainly eliminating the possibility of a quick weekend getaway.
The winter sale ends on Oct. 3 at 11:59 PST.
As of Tuesday afternoon, flights are as low as $49 to places such as Houston, Amarillo, and Little Rock AK. Other great deals are $99 fares to places like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Nashville, Tennessee.
Your best way to find the cheapest fares is by taking advantage of Southwest’s “Low Fare Calendar,” which offers a calendar showing the cheapest dates to fly between two points.
It may only be 72-hours for the sale, but it is hands down the best time for you to take full advantage of taking the family away for a trip and escaping those impending winter blues.
