Sherry Leigh (Stephens) Conley, 68, of Pattonville, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Paris Regional Health. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Bro. David Ballard officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Sherry, the daughter of George W. Stephens & Monda Montgomery Stephens, was born Nov. 28, 1955, in Eastland, Texas.
She graduated from Cooper High School in 1974, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1978, from East Texas State University where she also received her Master’s Degree. Her teaching career began in Commerce. Sherry then taught several years at Miller Grove and Prairiland before teaching at North Lamar, where she retired.
Sherry was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her father, George W. Stephens, and her brother, Trent Stephens.
Survivors include one son, Canyon Conley & wife Chelsea, one daughter, Carley Price & husband Blair, her mother, Monda Fults & husband Tom, three grandchildren, Cohen Price, Cassadee Conley, and Caroline Conley, siblings, Kelly Rodgers, Mona Fults, Dana Paulin & husband Gary, and Robbie Fults & wife Christie and her friend & caregiver, Wayne Sandlin along with a host of friends
