Faught Volunteer Fire Department was called to a home in the 1600 block of Amherst Road at approximately 10:00 p.m. Monday evening.
Residents at the home raised the alarm by saying they could see flames coming through a wall.
Faught units were first on the scene, they were supported Powderly, Blossom, Reno, East Post Oak, and Chicota.
Officials said that firefighters were able to take control of the fire which was determined as an electrical fire that began behind the wall of a bathroom.
There was minor smoke damage to parts of the inside of the home, however, firefighters acting quickly were able to minimize any potential damage.
There were no injuries.
