Savoy Police Department arrested and charged Andrew Harold Conti for deliver of marijuana under 5 pounds in a drug-free zone and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 in a drug-free zone after a search and arrest warrant was issued on Dec. 4, both felony-level charges.
Police executed a search warrant of Conti’s home, where officers found more than 3 pounds of marijuana, THX wax and $2,100 in cash.
Shortly after Conti was released on bond, he was arrested a second time on Dec. 7 and charged with delivery of marijuana, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 2 and felon in possession of a firearm.
After police executed another search warrant of Conti’s home, officers recovered more than 12 pounds of marijuana, $9,000 of cash and a loaded handgun.
A court date for Conti has not yet been set, and suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
