Royce Carl Vickers, 77, of Paris, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Heritage House of Paris.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Royce, the son of R. C. and Lola Green Vickers, was born May 5, 1940, in Hopkins County.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. His career with Amfac spanned many years before his retirement. Following retirement from Amfac, he drove for O’Reilly Auto Parts several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a spouse, Joyce in 2007, and a sister, Joyce Tice.
Survivors include his wife, Neva Vickers, children; Leslie Howard of Rockwall, Chris Vickers & wife Debbie of Paris and Greg Vickers & wife Katie of Texarkana, AR, step-children; Brad Bettis & wife Lee of Wichita Falls and Debra Cook of Forney, grandchildren; Jason Vickers & wife Erica, Justin Vickers, Caleb Vickers, Ty Vickers, Amanda Graham, Roy Graham & wife Tessa, Brian Bass & wife Rebecca and Heather Strickland & husband Scott, twelve great-grandchildren along with many friends.
