Roy Wayne Luttrell, 81, of Detroit, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Knights of Honor Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service in the chapel.

Mr. Luttrell was born on February 10, 1938, in Lamar Co. a son of J.D. Luttrell and Inez Thomas Luttrell. He was a graduate of Deport High School and was retired from the City of Paris as Sanitation and Traffic Supervisor. He will be remembered as a very talented oil painter artist, a man that was very creative, could fix anything and he enjoyed raising cattle.

Mr. Luttrell is survived by his wife, Sallie Luttrell, whom he married on July 7, 2009; daughter, Pamela Ann Key and husband, Mike Key of Reno, step-daughters, Farrah Work and husband, Dr. Gary E. Work of Durant, OK and Glenna Louis and husband, Karl of Reno and step-son, Brad “Catfish” Nutt and wife, Audy Nutt of Paris; grandchildren, Kristal Adams and Austin Adams of El Paso, TX, Tiffany McCloure and Brian of Hugo, OK, Caleb Louis and wife, Amanda of New Orleans, LA and Rachel Easlon and husband, Josh of Nigeria; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Jerry Don Luttrell and wife, Lori of Kyle, Tx; sisters, Christine Allen and husband, Mahlon of Greenville and Margaret Whitley and late husband, Lawrence of Blossom.
