Roger Wayne (Cotton) Anderson, 89, of Paris, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, September 22 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bill Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Roger, the son of Wylie and Zelpha Roberts Anderson was born April 24, 1934 in Clardy, Texas. He married Cynthia Ann McKnight on October 31, 1953, building 69 years of family and memories. Roger retired from B&W after 40 years of employment. Following his retirement, he enjoyed gardening and working in his shop. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elmer, Wesley, and Jessie Anderson; sisters, Lela Bullington, Lucille Nash, Helen Northam, Glenna Harrell, Addlene Booker and Cora Jo Tirado. Survivors include, his wife, Ann Anderson; two children, Angie Russell & husband Michael of Tyler and Kevin Anderson & wife Amy of Paris; five grandchildren, Morgann Cobb, Abigail Russell, Reid Russell, Mitchel Anderson and Rylee Anderson; four great-grandchildren, Cannon Cobb, Parker Cobb, Jakson Anderson and Fiona Anderson. Casket bearers will be, Reid Russell, Sam Cobb, Mitchell Anderson, Rylee Anderson, Jason Granberry, and Jeremy Callicoat. Even though he was taken from this world, his memories are left to treasure and will always be present in our hearts.
