Robert Love McMillin (Bob), 81, of Reno, passed away on Sunday, July 7th, 2024, at Paris Healthcare Center.
Celebration of Life will be held at the Cowboy Church in the camp, under the direction of Fry Gibbs Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 10th, with family and friends visitation at 1 p.m. and services following at 2 p.m.
Bob was born in Paris, Texas, the son of Robert and Bess McMillin.
He was a graduate of Odessa High School and attended Paris Junior College.
He married Wanda Faye McMillin on June 18th, 1963 at their house in Paris. Bob was a member of the Mason club; he worked for Paris Snacks for 28 years and never missed a day. He was a simple man who never met a stranger, loved to talk, see family, go to church, and have breakfast with the men on Friday mornings at McKee’s.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debra, mother-in-law, a sister and brother-in-law, and his all-time best friend, his dog Dubby.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda; daughter, Traci, Grandchildren; Reece Dollins and wife Alicia, Cody Dollins, Delaney Miller and husband, Tate, Amber Sullivan and Cole Sullivan; Great-Grandchildren, Benjamin Dollins, Abigail Dollins, Cooper Erickson, Jovi Erickson, Paislee Dollins, Chevy Dollins, Brody Miller, and Rhett Miller.
Special appreciation goes to Golden Care Home Health for their amazing care of Bob at home, and the ICU nurses and doctors for their excellent care and communication during his time in the hospital.
