A shooting at a Savoy gas station Monday night left one man dead, according to the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office.
Just before 10 p.m. Monday, a 36-year-old man and another 30-year-old man were in a dispute at a Quick Stop on Highway 56, and deputies reported the 36-year-old was shot and killed by the 30-year-old.
Deputies said the 30-year-old man is no longer in custody.
While names have been withheld so far, Texas Rangers continue to investigate the incident.
