On Monday, January 12, 2026, the Red River County Sheriff’s Office (RRCSO) Street Crimes Unit, under the direction of Lieutenant Freddy Booker, with assistance from Red River County Constable Shawn Roden, executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence located at 408 North Street in Clarksville.
The warrant was executed following an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of crystal methamphetamine within Red River County.
During the execution of the warrant, Royce “Boonie” Williams was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident. Williams was found to be in possession of approximately 41 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
Williams was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 less than 1 gram (State Jail Felony). He was additionally charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 greater than 4 grams but less than 200 grams (First Degree Felony).
At the time of his arrest, Williams was also out on bond stemming from a previous charge dated September 9, 2025, for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 greater than 4 grams but less than 200 grams (First Degree Felony).
