As the coronavirus continues to spread across our nation, one Lamar County woman wants to bring the community together in prayer at Paris Regional Medical Center.
“It is my heart to help bring morale back to the hospital; for our community to show support to those men and women who are on the front line of COVID-19 and to pray for this virus to be eradicated from the community, this county, this state, this country and our world,” said Jennifer Mann.
The ‘Park and Pray’ event has been scheduled for Tuesday, Mar. 31 at 8:30 p.m. (concluding at 8:45 p.m.)
“I am a believer that PRAY WORKS and we need to pray for those that have already been effected by the virus for healing, for protection for the rest of us who haven’t gotten it,” said Mann.
The event has been approved with PRMC and the Paris Police Department.
“All we ask is that everyone park in a spot (not on the road),” said Chief Hundley. “You do not have to face the hospital, do not block exits, do not block emergency vehicles and DO NOT get out of your vehicles.”
Those who want to be a part of the #PRMCParkandPray #PARISParkandPray event are asked to put their hazard lights on during the time of prayer.
