Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Popeyes is gearing up for the festive season by bringing back its Thanksgiving turkeys with a slight price increase.
According to the USDA, turkey’s price per pound has increased by 73 percent since October 2021, from $1.15 to $1.99 per pound.
These precooked birds start at $49.99, but varies per location, and is up from 2021’s starting price of $39.99. Orders can be placed by calling or visiting participating restaurants.
The turkeys need to be thawed and reheated, and they feed about eight-12 people.
