Polly Diane Shew, 64, of Reno, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Wade White and David Spangler officiating. Burial will follow in the Long Cemetery with Rick Johnson, Justin Johnson, Charlie Dake, Jake Dake, Wade Evans, Nathan Garrison, Josh Garrison and Larry Bramhall serving as pallbearers. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Thursday.
Polly was born on December 11, 1953, in Paris, a daughter of Alfred George and Hattie Marie Pickens Zimmerly. She was a longtime employee of J&G Concrete Products.
She is survived by children, Kevin Spangler of Powell, TN, Jason Spangler of Powderly and David Spangler of Aubrey, TX.; grandchildren, Zachery Spangler, Seth Spangler, Taiga Spangler, Ethan Spangler, Marie Cruce, Mason Spangler, Jaxon Spangler, and Hunter Ary; great-grandchild, Keira McBryar; brother, Larry Bramhall of Paris; sisters, Anna Garrison and Barbara Sharrock of Paris.
