Paris Junior College will host a mobile delivery site for the North Texas Food Bank on Monday, February 3 on the west side of Noyes Stadium.
“This partnership with the North Texas Food Bank will better serve our students at PJC and the Paris community,” said Carey Gable, who is spearheading the project for the College. “Food insecurity is a major issue affecting our students and people in the community.”
The partnership allows PJC to better serve those in need with a time and place they may get food.
PJC students, faculty, staff, and community members may receive food assistance packages between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The Noyes Stadium parking lot is accessed from 24th Street S.E., south of Clarksville Street.
“We plan to keep this going,” Gable said. “If this event is a success, we will bring it back as often as needed.”
