Paris High School Winter Guards competed Saturday at the North Texas Colorguard Association (NTCA) Winterguard Contest at Midlothian High School.

Varsity Guard placed first with their show about tic tac toe with a 5 point score over McKinney High School’s Varsity Guard.

Junior Varsity Guard placed second behind Mesquite High School Varsity Guard.

Their show “Sparked” is a continuation of the fall show “My Immortal.”

Director Jared Cronk said, “These kids are working hard to push themselves beyond their limits. We are definitely growing champions at Paris ISD and I’m super proud of them.”

Both teams perform their shows in the Paris High School gymnasium on Friday, Feb. 22, beginning at 6 p.m.
