Patricia Rosson, age 49, of Paris was called home on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at her residence in Paris. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 17, 2018, in the Gene Roden Memorial Chapel of Roden-Pryor Funeral Directors.
Patricia was born in Dallas County on January 15, 1969, and later moved to the Paris area. She married Rodney Rosson at age 19 and they had three children. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring grandmother. Patricia was a free-spirited, outspoken and a kind-hearted individual. She was a woman of many talents. She got pure satisfaction from being a “family woman”. Her children and
grandchildren brought her nothing but joy. No words can describe how much she was loved. She is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Smock, her two sisters, Belinda Patterson and Michele Reavis. She is survived by her husband, Rodney Rosson; children, Tara Rosson and partner, Daveon Gaines, Jeremy Rosson and wife, Joanne Rosson, and Chris Rosson, all of Paris, and step-son, Justin Rosson of El Dorado, AR; grandchildren, Dacin Rosson, Brooke Rosson, Britley Rosson, Rodney Wayne Rosson; father, Bucky Smock of Gun Barrel City, TX; sister, Lonnie Brewer of Gun Barrel City, TX; brothers, Willie Smock and Roger Smock of Arthur City, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.
