On Oct. 20, Officers of the Paris Police Department and North East Texas Auto Theft Task Force were notified of a theft of a trailer from a business in the 100 block of Oak Avenue. The theft occurred in the evening hours of October 19th and October 20th. The trailer was entered in the state and national data base as stolen. The incident is currently under investigation by the NE Texas Auto Theft Task Force.

On Oct. 20, Officers were notified of a female in distress on the parking lot of a business in the 800 block of NE Loop 286. They made contact with a 40 year old female who advised them that she had been assaulted earlier in the day. The victim advised that she had been both physically assaulted and sexually assaulted by a known individual. There was evidence of the physical assault. The victim was transported to PRMC and the investigation is being conducted by Paris Police Detectives.

Officers made 17 traffic stops, 1 adult arrest, and answered 132 calls for service during this reporting period.
