Thursday, October 10, 2024; a Paris Captain with Criminal Investigations continued investigation into the Arson and Terroristic Threat reported on Wednesday night, in the 500 block of NE 12th Street, where a subject had started a fire from a small pot, with intent to set fire to a house and vehicle. The Captain secured two warrants for 39-Year-Old Ashley Nicole Hensler, who was already incarcerated in the Paris Jail for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hensler was served with warrants; Felony Arson Intend Damage Habitat and Class “A” Terroristic Threat of FamilyHousehold in conjunction with the incident.
Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 6:36 am; a Paris Officer responding to a Traffic Hazard call, in the 1200 block of Lamar Avenue, arrived to observe a Load Trail brand flatbed trailer, with no license plate, with “material” on it, sitting in the roadway. Through his investigation, determined that someone had attempted to steal the trailer from a business in the 1100 block of Clarksville Street. The trailer and the materials, valuing at $48,000 dollars’, were recovered and returned to the owner. Detectives will review area surveillance footage and speak with a witness as they continue investigation into the Felony Theft Property >=30K<150K.
Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 8:29 pm; a Disturbance reported in the 6200 block of Bonham Street; resulted in a Paris Officer taking a Felony Stalking and a “Class A” Violation BondProtective Order reports. The victim stated that after driving approximately 2 miles on Highway 82, a vehicle being driven by her Ex, approached her vehicle from the rear and began driving very aggressively by brake checking her, swerving towards her in an apparent attempt to drive her off the road, and following her. The incident is under investigation.
