On Nov. 27, Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1800 block of Hubbard. Upon arrival, Officers observed Rolando Garza setting grass on fire to the front lawn using lighter fluid. Additional investigation found that Garza had also poured the light fluid on a vehicle and telephone pole in the area and set both on fire. Garza was placed under arrest for Arson and booked without incident.
On Nov. 27, Officers responded to the 100 blk of SE 25th in reference to a burglary of a residence. Officers were advised that several items from inside the home were taken, including cash and several firearms. The investigation is continuing.
On Nov.28, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 blk of Bonham Street and discovered that the driver, Rodrich Black, was intoxicated. Further investigation revealed that Black had two prior convictions for DWI, make this a charge of Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More. Black was arrested and transported to jail without incident.
On Nov. 30, a report of a suspicious person in the 1500 blk of E. Price resulted in the arrest of Jerome Tennon when it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant for Poss CS PG 1/1-B >=1G<4G. Tennon was transported to jail and booked without incident.
Officers made 18 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 129 calls for service during this reporting period.
