Sat. Nov. 23 at 5:29pm; the Honey Grove Police Department requested assistance from the Paris Police Department to assist in locating a juvenile-female-runaway that was reported through their department by the runaway’s father. A Paris Officer responded to the 1400 block of Neathery Street and made contact with relatives of the reported runaway. The juvenile runaway was located and during transport to the Paris Police Department, she made statements of being mistreated in her Fannin County home. The Paris Officer used his department issued phone for the Honey Grove Sergeant to speak with the runaway’s father about the issues. The runaway was then released to her father, who had been waiting at the Paris Police Department for her return.
Sun. Nov. 24 at 9:28am; a silver 2013 Lincoln Navigator was reported stolen from the 500 block of SE 15th Street, between the approximate hours of 1:00am and 7:30am. The vehicle had been parked, unlocked, with the key inside. The landlord provided a Paris officer with surveillance footage, capturing two subjects that had been walking, open the front doors of the vehicle, enter, and drive away south on SE 15th Street. At 7:24pm, another officer, patrolling in the 2200 block of East Price Street, observed a vehicle matching the description of the stolen vehicle, in a parking lot and confirmed it as the same. The vehicle was photographed and printed. The Auto Theft Task Force Detective was notified. The victim arrived and reported that her purse and its contents, including medication and cards, along with the car key, were missing.
Sun. Nov. 24 at 10:02am; an entry into a vehicle was reported in the 3200 block of Mahaffey Lane. The victim stated to a Paris Officer that her Ruger semi-automatic pistol was stolen from her unlocked vehicle sometime during the night. The victim called later and stated that her wallet had also been stolen. Video footage recordings, from the general area, are being reviewed. A Felony Theft of Firearm report and Burglary of Vehicle reports were taken.
Mon. Nov. 25 at 3:13am; Paris Officers responded to the 2600 block of Lamar Avenue to a sleeping person in a vehicle for near three hours. While making contact and identifying the subject, officers observed, in plain view, a glass jar containing
marijuana residue. 26-year-old Rikki De’Lane L ‘Orchid Johnson stated that there was contraband in a grey zipper bag on the passenger seat that she had intentions to drop off/deliver to another subject. After inventory of the bag, Johnson was arrested and taken into custody for two Felony Manufacture Delivery Controlled Substances charges: Cocaine and Methamphetamine. She was also booked for three Class C warrants out of Paris Municipal Court. (No Photo Available)
