Officer responded to a fraud call. The victim report that her debit card was mistakenly left in the 300 block of NE 20th street. She later found that unauthorized transactions, exceeding one-thousand dollars in value had been made to her account by an unauthorized person (s) using her debit card. The case has been forwarded to the investigation division.
Officer responded to a narcotics violation in the 3500 block of NE Loop 286. Officer observed the suspects leaving the scene, and made contact with a white male and a white female in a vehicle in the 3100 block of NE Loop 286. The male was identified as 49 year old Jason Robinson. Robinson was determined to have an outstanding Felony Parole Violation warrant. Robinson was arrested and booked into the Paris Police Department jail and later transferred to the Lamar County jail.
Officers and EMS responded to a disturbance call in the 1200 SE 15th Street, wherein it was reported that a male subject was actively assaulting a female subject. The first officer on scene observed a male subject in the process of assaulting a female subject As EMS treated the victim; the male subject, the officer attempted to take the male into custody. The subject resisted arrest but was subdued and taken into custody. The victim who had sustained injury was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center. The male subject , identified as Abe Stanley (no image available) was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault Causes Serious Bodily Injury- Assault Family/Household Member Impede Breath-; and Resisting Arrest. Stanley was booked into the Paris Police Department jail, where the investigation will continue.
