Monday, November 21, 2022: at 7:41am: Paris Police Officer was dispatched to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle call in the 1800 block of Polk Street to find that a truck had been entered over-night and a camouflage 12 gauge shotgun with a turkey choke valued at $800 had been stolen. The victim believed that the truck was locked; however no forced entry was located.
Monday, November 21, 2022: at 8:20am: Paris Police Officer spoke to a victim (at work) on the telephone who advised that his vehicle had been burglarized over-night in the 2100 block of Cleveland Street; wherein an IPhone 13 and a RODE Caster Pro, belonging to his employer were stolen. Also to discover that a storage shed on the property had also been burglarized and a push mower, leaf blower and weed eater were missing; for a total loss of over $2000 dollars. The incidents will be followed up on when the victim is home.
Monday, November 21, 2022: at 3:38pm & 4:46pm: Paris Police Officer responded to two felony shopliftings in the 2400 North Main Street. Details are pending and will be reported in tomorrow’s release if information is available.
Monday, November 21, 2022: at 10:11pm: Paris Police Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Pine Bluff Street in response to a report of an assault. 31-year-old male victim, bleeding from a laceration on the top of his head stated that 21-year-old known male suspect had entered through the closed front door of the residence without permission and had hit him more than once with a wooden bat shaped club. Other occupants of the residence topped the assault and will transport the victim for medical attention. The incident is being investigated as a Burglary of Habitation with Intend of other Felony.
