On Mar. 27, an officer made contact with Anthony Seton Lynch (60) of Paris in the 600 block of Bonham St. A cursory search of Lynch’s person located a marijuana cigarette. Lynch was detained and a cart that he was pushing was searched. Within the cart the officer located a pipe cutter, hacksaw, and other tools commonly used in the theft of copper. Copper pipe, which had been cut down to fit in a smaller bag was located in the cart as well. Lynch was charged with Possession of Copper, Possession of Marijuana, and an outstanding Lamar County Misdemeanor Warrant. He was booked without incident and taken to county jail.
Officers made 10 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 107 calls for service during this reporting period.
