Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:09am: 35-Year-Old Nadalie Nacole Woodruff of Paris was arrested at the Adult Probation Office in the 4300 block of Bonham Street after a Paris Police Officer was dispatched to that location to arrest her on three outstanding felony warrants out of Lamar County. Woodruff was booked into the Paris Jail for (1) Motion to Adjudicate – Evading Arrest/Detention in Vehicle, (2) Motion to Adjudicate – Abandon Endanger Child (3) Motion to Adjudicate – Theft of Property <$2500 with 2 or more previous convictions.
Monday, March 13, 2023 at 8:55pm: Paris Police Officer took a report of Abandon Endanger Child that occurred in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue. Employees and bystanders witnessed a father yelling at his daughter, causing a disturbance. The daughter lives with her mother in Oklahoma, but is visiting her father here in Paris for Spring Break. After yelling at his daughter; the father left the store, leaving the daughter behind. The father’s employer and employer’s wife arrived on scene and took the daughter in for the night. Child Protective Service will follow-up and do an investigation.
Monday, March 13, 2023 at 11:47pm: Paris Police Officer was patrolling in the area of the 2700 block of Lamar Ave, when he observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. As the Officer began to try to approach the vehicle; the vehicle was speeding over the posted speed limit. After initiating emergency lights; the vehicle stopped and the officer made contact with 33- Year-Old Courtney Lynn Jones of Paris. Jones was checked for warrants and a warrant was confirmed for Jones from the Atlanta, Georgia Police Department for Felony- Financial Identity Fraud. Jones was transported to the Paris Police Department Jail and booked.
Monday, March 13, 2023: The Paris Police Department responded to 66 Calls for Service and arrested 1 adult person.
