On Mar. 10, Officers stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation in the 3000 block of NE Loop 286. The driver was identified as Jake Darren Brigle (36) of Paris. Officers observed an open alcoholic beverage container in the vehicle. Officers conducted a search of the vehicle and a passenger admitted to having a small amount of marijuana. The marijuana was recovered as was another small quantity in the vehicle console. Officers also located methamphetamine secreted between the console and driver’s seat. Briggle admitted possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. He was arrested for the charges without incident, booked, and taken to county jail.
Officers made 39 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 94 calls for service during this reporting period.
