On June 5, Paul David Payne (86) was arrested on a warrant for Indecent Exposure after being contacted at the scene of a minor accident. The warrant was the result of a complaint from April 2023 in which Payne was identified as the suspect in an incident which had occurred at Lake Crook Park. Payne was accused of intentionally exposing himself to two North Lamar Students who were at the lake having lunch. Payne was identified through vehicle information and a warrant was obtained for his arrest. He was processed without incident.
On June 6, Vincent Jake Draper 47 was arrested for an outstanding Warrant Revoking his Probation. Initial charges were Assault of a Family Member. He was booked without incident.
On June 7, an officer approached a group of people in the 800 block of W. Kaufman. One of the group fled the officer on foot. The subject was located hiding in the area and was identified as Kemonte Quenchez Gordon (41). Gordon was found to have outstanding warrants for Theft with 2 previous convictions out of Lamar County. He was booked on the warrant as well as charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Previous Conviction.
Officers made 10 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 97 calls for service for this reporting period.
