On June 12, Officers received a report of a vehicle driving erratically in heading into Paris on 271 North. Officers located the vehicle in the 2500 block of N. Main at a local motel. They made contact with the driver, Arnulfo Gonzalez (40) who was still in the vehicle. Gonzalez was found to be intoxicated. There were numerous open containers of alcoholic beverages within the vehicle. He was charged with DWI (With open container). During an inventory of the vehicle, cocaine was located within the drivers vehicle and control. He was subsequently charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, booked and placed in jail.
On June 12, Officers arrested Christopher Lynn Washington (33) on a warrant for the charge of Sexual Assault. This arrest is the result of an incident reported in early June. The case is open and no further information will be released at this time.
On June 12, Officers received a report in the 400 block of NW 15th of a Robbery. Two known juvenile suspects assaulted another juvenile and stole property from the victim. Officers attempted to locate the suspects but as of the time of the report had been unable to make contact. The case is open and under investigation.
Officers made 12 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 113 calls for service for this reporting period.
