On July 31, Officers arrested Trevarrion Trevon Davis (27) at Adult Probation for the following outstanding warrants: Titus County, Unlawful Carrying a Weapon and Possession of Marijuana, Collin County Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
On July 31, an officer stopped Glen Ray Maxey (59) of Paris, in the 500 block of E. Price Street for failure to stop at a stop sign. When the officer made contact with Maxey, he observed what appeared to be narcotics in open view in the console of Maxey’s vehicle. Maxey was asked to exit the vehicle and was searched. More narcotics were located in the pocket of his shirt. Maxey told the officer that the substance was illegal narcotics. He was arrested without incident and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance a 3rd degree Felony.
On Aug. 1, Officers made contact with Stanley Warren Collins (52) of Paris in the 1800 block of Fitzhugh St as a result of suspicious activity. Collins was plainly nervous during questioning and eventually consented to a search of two bags in his possession. He was found to be in possession of narcotics as well as paraphernalia used for the smoking of same. Collins was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was booked without incident.
Officers made 34 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 93 calls for service during this reporting period.
