On July 2, Paris Police executed an arrest warrant in 500 block 1st NW. Sheldon Adams was arrested on Lamar County warrant for Motion to Adjudicate on Possession Controlled Substance and Motion to Adjudicate on Resisting Arrest, Search and Transport.
On July 3, a Paris Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in 700 block 4th NW. Officer found the driver, Roy Porter, to be intoxicated. Porter was placed under arrest for Felony Driving While Intoxicated and Paris Municipal Court warrants.
Paris Police made a total of seven (7) arrests, nineteen (19) traffic stops and responded to sixty-two (62) calls for service.
