At 11:31 P.M. on January 24, 2023, Paris Police observed a vehicle in the 700 block of Pecan Court with the interior light on and stopped to investigate due to recent burglaries of motor vehicles. The officer made contact with the owner who advised that the vehicle was locked and had not been burglarized. The owner did report that the vehicle had been burglarized about a month ago but he had not reported it. The victim reported that someone had opened both front doors and had stolen a pistol and a broken iPhone. The investigation continues.
