On Jan. 23, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Tudor St for an expired registration. Officers made contact with an individual in the vehicle as a passenger who identified himself as James Sanderson. The subject gave officers permission to search his person and a large amount of methamphetamine was recovered from the subject’s person. It was later determined that the subject with the drugs was actually Casey Dajuan Sanders (46). Sanders was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance, Fail to Identify as a Fugitive from Justice and several other charges including Parole violation and misdemeanor charges. The vehicle driver was charged with a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia offense.
Officers made 18 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 60 calls for service for this reporting period.
