Paris Police arrested Eric Pokorski, 46, of Paris, at his residence in the 300 block of NW 12th St at 8:39 A.M. on January 18, 2023 on a parole violation warrant. Pokorski was booked before being transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police located and arrested Brian Keith Akers, 60, in the 300 block of E Price St at 8:50 A.M. on January 18, 2023. Akers was known to have an outstanding felony probation warrant on a possession of a controlled substance conviction. Akers was booked and then transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Michael Harrington, 48, of Blossom, Texas, was seen at a residence in the 1000 block of NE 5th St and was known to have an outstanding felony warrant. Harrington was arrested on a felony probation violation warrant on a possession of a controlled substance of more than 1 gram but less then 4 grams conviction. Harrington was later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
Paris Police received information through Crime Stoppers that 23 year old Jiamon Daquann Bailey was at a residence in the 2900 block of Clarksville St and had multiple felony warrants. Officers located and arrested Bailey on warrants charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, manufacture or deliver a controlled substance of more than 1 gram but less then 4 grams, and possession of marijuana of more than 4 ounces but less then 5 pounds. During the arrest, officers observed contraband in plain view and a search warrant of the residence was obtained. Officers located more than 1 pound of marijuana inside the residence. Bailey was additionally charged with possession of marijuana. Bailey was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
