On Feb. 26, Officers served a warrant in the 2600 block of N. Main. Roberta Virginia Miller (49) of Paris, was arrested on a warrant for Credit Card Abuse Against an Elderly Individual, a Felony. The warrant was the result of an investigation initiated by the Paris Police Department in June of 2024 in which Miller was a suspect in an incident where it was determined that she had illegally used an elderly victim’s credit card several times without permission. Miller was arrested without incident.
On Feb. 27, Officers of the NE Texas Auto Theft Task Force and Paris Police Department recovered a vehicle which had been reported as stolen in the 10 block of W. Plaza. An officer noticed the vehicle which was confirmed as stolen from the reporting agency. Contact was made with the driver and passenger, who were detained for questioning. The driver and passenger were released soon afterwards and the vehicle was impounded for Fannin County per request from the Fannin County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officers made 25 traffic stops, 7 adult arrest, and answered 115 calls for service for this reporting period.
