On Dec. 4, Officers responded to the 300 block of SE 6th in regards to a family disturbance. Upon arrival they met the 50 year old male victim who advised he had been assaulted by a family member. There had been an argument and the suspect, Lendsey Michelle Bohanan (33) had thrown an object at the victim, striking him in the head. Bohanan had then pushed the victim as well as choking him with her hands. There were physical marks confirming the victim’s testimony. Bohanan was arrested and charged with Family Violence Assault by Impeding Breath, a Felony. She was booked and taken to Lamar County Jail.
On Dec. 5, Officers met a victim in the 3100 block of Lamar Avenue in regards to an assault which had taken place on November 30, 2025. The victim advised the assault took place in the 3100 block of Clarksville when she was assaulted by a now ex-boyfriend. The victim advised the suspect had choked her and thrown her up against the door. A report was taken and the incident is under investigation.
On Dec. 6, Officers responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian accident call in the 3100 block of NE Loop 286. They arrived and found that the driver of the vehicle, WD Wynn (75) had struck a female victim with his vehicle, actually driving the vehicle over the victim, which caused serious injury. Winn, who was still on scene was found to be intoxicated. Field Sobriety Testing confirmed the officers suspicions and Wynn was arrested and charged with Intoxication Assault, a Felony. The victim was taken to Paris Regional Medical Center for treatment.
On Dec. 7, The Department was notified of a Burglary of Residence in the 500 block of Deshong Drive. The victim advised that on the night of 12/06-12/07, a possibly known suspect kicked in her door. Officer observed that clothes were scattered around and that some liquid was poured into the floor. The victim believes the suspect is possibly a paramour but that she is unsure. The victim was not at the residence during the time of the burglary. Evidence was collected and the case is under investigation.
On Dec. 7, Officers stopped Aaron Scott Greer (34) in the 900 block of Bonham St after observing a traffic offense. Greer was found to be intoxicated. After field testing provided further evidence of Greer’s condition he was arrested and taken
to PRMC for a warranted blood test. It was discovered that Greer already had three previous convictions for Driving While Intoxicated. The charge was enhanced to DWI 3rd or More, a Felony. He was booked without incident.
On Dec. 7, a report was received of a Burglary of a Habitation in the 100 block of NE 21st . A juvenile witness advised they were in the bathroom and heard the voice of a subject (another juvenile) calling his name. The witness advised by the time he came out of the bathroom he saw the known suspect running out the door. The witness advised that the suspect had stolen a video game system and a backpack. The incident is under investigation.
On Dec. 7, Officers investigated an assault which took place in the 1400 block of Fitzhugh. The victim advised that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her by punching and choking her. The victim had obvious injuries. Evidence was collected, and the incident is under further investigation.
Officers made 47 traffic stops, 11 adult arrest, and answered 205 calls for service during this reporting period.
