Fri., Dec. 27 at 8:55am; a victim went to his back yard storage shed in the 500 block East Cherry Street and noticed that four of his lawn tools were missing. The shed was locked, but it appeared that the latch had been broken off the doors. Two hedge trimmers and two weed eaters had been stolen. A Burglary of a Building report was taken.
Fri., Dec. 27 at 1:24pm; during an investigation in the 1300 block of West Houston Street, Paris Detectives noticed 36-year-old Shawn Michael Lehman through an open door on the property and knew him to have outstanding felony warrants. Lehman was taken into custody for Felony-Instanter/Poss CS PG 1<1G, FelonyInstanter/Bail Jumping and Fail to Appear and on-view Possession Controlled Substance-Meth.
Sat. Dec. 28 at 9:10pm; a Paris Officer knew 32-year-old Erica Roschell Vickers to have outstanding warrants and observed her walking in the 1300 block of Clarksville Street; made contact and arrested her for Felony-Violation Bond/Protective Order 2+ Previous Convictions and three Municipal Court Class C warrant.
Sun. Dec. 29 at 4:43am; a male stated that he had driven to a club to give a known subject a ride, due to the subject being extremely intoxicated. The male stated that the intoxicated subject got in the driver’s seat and begin driving erratically, refusing to stop and continued to progressively more aggressive driving. The male called 9-1-1, but the intoxicated driver still refused to stop. One officer observed the pickup driving at a high rate of speed in the 100 block of SE 17th Street and activated his marked unit’s emergency red and blue lights and emergency siren. The vehicle continued at a high rate of speed and did not stop. The pickup wrecked into an electric pole. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Lebroderick Kevon Norman was treated by Paris EMS for injuries from the wreck and was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated (3rd or more) – 3rd Degree Felony, Evading Arrest/Detention with Vehicle – 3rd Degree Felony and for an Outstanding Parole
Violation Warrant-Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or more.
Fri. Dec. 27 thru Sun. Dec. 29, 2024: The Paris Police Department responded to 164 Calls for Service, made 15 Adult Arrest, and Initiated 73 Traffic Stops.
