Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:07pm: State Board of Pardon and Parole notified Paris Police of a parolee in their office with an active warrant. Paris Police Officer responded to the 3900 block of North Main Street and placed 61-year-old Michael Anthony Feith of Arthur City under arrest for a Parole Violation-Sex Offender Duty to Register Warrant. Feith was booked in the Paris Jail and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:39pm: A victim in the 800 block of West Austin Street told a Paris Police Officer that she had been assaulted by a mother and her daughter, who are members of her same household. The victim further stated that the mother jumped on top of her and began to strangle her. The victim was eventually able to break free and go to their neighbor’s house to call the police. 29-year-old Devonica Ivy Sugg of Paris was charged with Assault Family House Member Impeding Breathe and booked into the Paris Jail.
Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 12:18am: Paris Police Officers were dispatched to 1100 block of East Houston Street to where two witnesses stated that an armed female was inside the residence arguing with her boyfriend. The female was located in a front bedroom with a broken out window. After a few attempts of officers trying to get the female to drop the pistol; she threw the pistol through the broken window to the outside ground. The boyfriend stated she had said that she was going to blow his head off. The suspect’s father arrived on scene and stated that his daughter had stolen a firearm from his safe and believed that she had been involved in a shooting in Rockwall. The pistol was secured and 17-year-old Angelique Sade Nigreville of Lone Oak was taken into custody for two felonies; Aggravated Assault W/Deadly Weapon and Theft of Firearm.
Wednesday, December 28, 2022: The Paris Police Department responded to 52 calls for service and arrested 3 adult persons.
