Tues. Dec. 10; Paris Police Department Detectives executed a search warrant at 440 NE 34th Street Paris, Texas. Upon arrival, Detectives observed Danny Christopher and Charles Sweat in the driveway of this residence. During the execution of the search warrant, the following individuals were located and found in possession of a controlled substance: Danny Ray Christopher (39); Charles Chase Sweat (40) Carrie Jo Pitts (45). All suspects were arrested and transported to the Department for booking. They were later taken to Lamar County Jail.
Tues. Dec. 10; Officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Clarksville St in regards to a disturbance. Upon arrival officers made contact with a female juvenile on the parking lot and identified them as the victim. The victim (13 years of age) was in a t shirt and shorts even though the temperatures were very cold. She advised that a household member had assaulted her. The victim was placed in a patrol unit to keep her warm while officers made contact with the suspect, who was found to be heavily intoxicated. The suspect admitted to having assaulted the victim but claimed it was a disciplinary action. The victim advised she had been struck and choked by the suspect. The victim did have obvious injuries. The victim’s father was contacted and came and took custody of the juvenile. The investigation will continue.
Officers made 4 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 72 calls for service for this reporting period.
