On Aug. 6, The department received several calls from a business in the 900 block of Clarksville about a possible intoxicated driver leaving the area. A vehicle description and tag number were provided. Officers located the vehicle in the 2400 block of N. Main St. and stopped it in the 500 block of NW Loop 286, where they made contact with Deryl Wayne Draper (66). Draper was found to be intoxicated. He admitted to having consumed alcoholic beverages prior to operating the vehicle. Draper was arrested, taken to PRMC for a blood draw, and then booked on the charges. It was found that Draper had several previous arrest for DWI and the charge was enhanced to a Felony.
On Aug. 6, Officers received a report of a theft from a residence in the 1600 block of Ballard Dr. The victim reported missing jewelry from the home. The victim told officers that there was limited access to the home and provided information on possible suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers made 14 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 98 calls for service for this reporting period.
