On Aug. 20, Officers were notified of a disturbance in the 300 block of SE 19th Street where a subjects ex wife had entered his residence and was assaulting him. Officers located the residence and made contact with the victim who said he wanted the suspect to leave his residence. The suspect, Mary Hannah Brashier (41) in a state of undress in a room near the back of the residence. The victim advised that Brashier had entered his residence, undressed and came to his room. When ordered to leave, Brashier had struck the victim several times with her hands and with a fire extinguisher which she tore off the wall. She also broke several items. Brashier did not have permission to enter the residence and did not have normal access to the residence. She was arrested for Burglary of Residence due to her entering the residence and assaulting the occupant as well as damaging his property. She was booked and placed in jail.
On Aug. 20, Officers arrested Wendell Frank Johnson Jr (48) at the Paris Parole Office on an outstanding Parole Violation Warrant. He was arrested without incident, processed and taken to Lamar County Jail.
Officers made 13 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 118 calls for service for this reporting period.
